A Non-Governmental organization, “Stand up for Women Society", with branches all across the Federation and the globe recently, had a team from their Imo State Chapter pay a visit to my office.

The lovely State Coordinator, Libretor Meg Odinakachi Praise, who led the group, shared the organisation’s aim, vision and mission in advocating for women's rights and their total development. She also highlighted their accomplishments within a few years of their inauguration in Imo State. I was impressed with their achievements thus far and offered my support when necessary.

Thereafter, they invited me to their International Conference which will hold in September this year. I look forward to their thoughtful plans for our women as they continue to work hard.
