The launch of the Cervical Cancer Screening Programme in Imo State has ushered in a period of decisive action. Under the PECCIN framework, we have initiated comprehensive training for healthcare professionals alongside active screening exercises across our health facilities. By equipping medical personnel with advanced skills and providing women immediate access to screenings, we ensure the programme’s impact is both immediate and sustainable. These efforts are essential for strengthening our health system and making early detection the standard of care. Through proper training and widespread awareness, we are building a formidable frontline to protect and preserve the lives of our women.
